The K-factor (specific fitting factor) has been measured on a certified calibration rig
with water at 20°C and with a flow velocity of 2 m/s.
This K-factor depends upon the installation conditions.
Repeatability is better than ±0.4%.
with Bürkert standard fitting with specific sizes (See data sheet 8025, 1500, 1501).
with Bürkert weld-in taps and saddle-fittings under reference conditions (fluid and
pipe sizes). In case of deviation from these reference conditions, the mentioned K-factor
can change. Please ask for advise to Bürkert salesmen.
Note: Conversion to Imperial Gallons: K[pulse/Impgal] = 4,55 x K [pulse/l]
