All brushing works require lower rotational
speeds to avoid pulling wires off from
brushes.
Apply the rule to proceed with the work at
the lowest speed that is reasonable for
working tool and processed material.
Higher rotational speeds are better for drill-
ing and cutting.
Hard wood, metals and glass also require
higher settings of the spindle rotational
speed.
Respective settings on the display provide
following spindle rotational speeds:
8 = 8000 min
-1
9 = 9000 min
-1
10 = 10000 min
etc.
Some materials, such as certain plastics
and metals may be damaged due to heat
produced during high speed processing.
They have to be processed with appropri-
ately lower speeds.
Always use goggles or impact glasses when
operating the machine. Failure to follow this
recommendation may cause serious body
injuries (especially eyes), when small parti-
cles of a workpiece or working tool ele-
ments, such as pieces of wire brushes, are
projected by the working power tool.

15. Maintenance and Cleaning

Maintenance
15.1
There are no inner parts of the tool which
need maintenance.
Cleaning
15.2
• Keep safety devices, ventilation open-
ings and the motor housing as free as
possible from dirt and dust. Rub the
electric power tool with a clean cloth or
blow over it with low pressure com-
pressed air.
• We recommend that you clean your
electric power tool immediately after
each use.
• Clean the electric power tool regularly
with a damp cloth and somewhat soft
soap. Do not use any cleaning or sol-
vent materials; these can attack the
device's plastic components. Make sure

that no water can get inside the electric
power tool.

Vibration level
16.1
The vibration emission level stated in this
instruction manual has been measured in
accordance with a standardised test given
in EN 60745; it may be used to compare one
tool with another and as a preliminary
assessment of exposure to vibration when
using the tool for the applications
mentioned
• using the tool for different applications,
or with different or poorly maintained
accessories, may significantly increase
the exposure level
• the times when the tool is switched off
or when it is running but not actually
doing the job, may significantly reduce
the exposure level
Protect yourself against the effects of vibra-
tion by maintaining the tool and its accesso-
ries, keeping your hands warm, and organiz-
ing your work patterns.
