9.3.2.1 Replacing the discharge valve
Always install the valve intended for the particular instrument model and size.
The filling valve of the is the same on all instrument versions; however, the discharge valve is different.
Make sure to use only the filling valve marked with 'S' (sapphire). For easy identification, the discharge
valves for the are marked with 'Pt-Ir' or 'Ta'.

NOTICE
a.
Instruments with a recirculating valve should be set to
'Recirculate', and the valve lever pulled upwards to re-
move it.

Slide the discharge tube housing all the way up, then
pull it forward with gentle up and down motions.
c.
Hold coupling piece of the new discharge tube and pull
housing up. Push housing into the valve block until it
meets the stop.
d.
Slide the discharge tube housing all the way down.
e.
For instruments with a recirculation valve, pull up the
valve lever to the 'Recirculate' position, and press it in
tightly.
