Using the rotary knob at the side of the machine, you can
set the height between the suction mouth and the work
area. To do this, loosen the knob, tilt the machine to the
required height and retighten the knob (L). The shorter
the distance between the suction mouth and the work
area, the stronger the suction power, but... the machine
can also become more sensitive to irregularities.
Therefore, select more distance between the suction
mouth and the work area in more uneven sites: your leaf
vacuum will 'float' (as it were) over the irregularities.
On an uneven site, you can also choose to refrain from retightening the knob. You can then
manually vary the suction height.
Emptying the collection bag
If the collection bag is almost full, the suction power will decrease considerably. You should
then empty the bag.
 Switch off the machine, pull the plug out of the socket and wait until the machine has
stopped completely.
 Remove the collection bag from the machine and empty it by unzipping it.
 Reattach the collection bag before you continue working.
CLEANING, MAINTENANCE & STORAGE
Turn off the machine first and pull the plug out of the socket before carrying out any
maintenance or cleaning.
Clean the machine regularly and thoroughly (in particular the ventilation openings) to
-
keep it in good condition. Use a dry cloth and a soft brush. Do NOT use cleaning agents
and do NOT rinse the machine.
Check whether all bolts, screws and nuts are firmly attached. Also check whether the
-
collection bag is damaged or worn out.
If you observe damage or your machine malfunctions, please contact your supplier or a
-
qualified technician. NEVER repair the machine yourself and demand original spare
parts.
Make sure that the machine is cleaned thoroughly before you store it in a dry and
-
frost-free place and out of reach of children.
