 After use, switch the device off by pressing the switch(es) on/off to O and
remove the plug from the socket. Wind the electrical cable around the cable
hanger.
Type 1240: Place the accessories at the appropriate locations behind the device.
Safeguards
If you are sucking up water and the container is full, a float will cut off suction. The
motor will produce a noise that sounds like high revs but, in fact, the machine will
no longer suck effectively. In this event, switch the unit off and remove the plug
from the socket. Empty the container; you can then carry on using the device as
normal.

Cleaning and maintenance

Before cleaning or maintenance: always switch
