Pocket Transmitter for
Electret Microphones
These instructions are intended for users with-
out any specific technical knowledge . Please read
these instructions carefully prior to operating the
unit and keep them for later reference .

found on the fold-out page 3 .

phone or a tie clip microphone

– green as a power indication
– red when the batteries are almost dis-

5 Rotary switch to adjust the transmission
channel with the supplied adjusting key

turn the control with the supplied adjusting

The unit is suitable for indoor use only . Protect
it against dripping water and splash water, high
air humidity, and heat (admissible ambient tem-
perature range 0 – 40 °C) .
For cleaning only use a dry, soft cloth; never
use chemicals or water .

for any resulting personal damage or material
damage will be accepted if the unit is used for
other purposes than originally intended, if it
is not correctly operated or not repaired in an

If the transmitter is to be put out of

3 Applications

This multifrequency pocket transmitter is pro-
vided for connecting a headband microphone
or a tie clip microphone . In combination with
the 2-channel multifrequency receiver TXS-891
from IMG STAGELINE it creates a wireless audio
transmission system . The transmission channel
can be selected as desired among 16 channels
in the UHF frequency range of 863 to 865 MHz .
The transmitter is supplied with an artificial
leather bag for fastening the transmitter to your
clothes .

3.1 Conformity and approval

Herewith, MONACOR INTERNATIONAL declare
that the transmitter TXS-891HSE complies with
the directive 2014 / 53 / EU . The EU declaration of
conformity is available on the Internet:

This transmitter is licence-free and generally
approved for operation in EU and EFTA countries .

4 Power Supply

Insert only batteries of the same type and
always replace all batteries .
If the unit is not used for a longer period (e . g .
more than a week), remove the batteries . Thus,
the unit will not be damaged in case of battery
leakage .
1) Open the velcro fastener and take the trans-
mitter out of the girdle bag .
2) Remove the cover (8) of the battery compart-

ment . This will allow access to the battery
compartment (7) .
3) Insert two 1 .5 V batteries of size AA (R6) with
the positive and negative connections as indi-
cated in compartment .
4) Replace the cover .
Used batteries and defective rechargea-
ble batteries must not be placed in the
household waste . To protect the envi-
ronment, always take them to a special
waste disposal, e . g . collection container
at your retailer .
