insert the power cord into the hole of the cable gland located
on the rear side of the appliance. some devices, as shown
in the table (table 1), can be powered with both three-phase
voltage at 400 V (Fig. 6a) and single-phase voltage at 230
V (Fig. 6b). Connect the cable to the terminal block follow-
ing the instructions given in fig. 6. secure the cable with the
cable gland.
the supply voltage, when the machine is operating, should
not vary in relation to the rated voltage by more than ± 10%.
the applinace must be included into an equipotential system
whose efficency is checked in compliance with the stand-
ards in force. For the connection use the clamp, placed on
the frame and marked with the symbol in fig. 7, to which
you should connect a cable with the minimum section of 10
mm²².
reassemble the backside of the appliance.
the equipment complies with the essential requirements of
the low Voltage directive 73/23/eC and
2006/95/Cee. it meets the provisions of the following electri-
cal standards:
• en 60335-1 + subsequent amendments;
• en 60335-2-42 + subsequent amendments;
• en 55104 / en 55014 + subsequent amendments;
• en 61000 + subsequent amendments.
the equipment complies with the essential requirements of the electromagnetic Compat-
ibility directive 93/465/Cee.
2.4 Commissioning the equipment
Before putting the oven into operation, you should carefully carry out all the necessary
checks to ascertain the conformity of the equipment and installation of the appliance as
provided by law and according to the technical and safety instructions given in this manual.
You should also check that the compliance of the following:
the ambient temperature in the location where the appliance is installed should be greater
than +4 ° C.
the cooking chamber should be empty.
all packages must have been completely removed, including the protective film applied on
appliance's walls.
the vents and slits should be open and free of obstructions.
the parts of the appliance that were disassembled for installation purposes should be
reinstalled.
the master switch should be closed and the water shut-off valve upstream of the unit must
be opened.
in the moment in which the unit receives the supply voltage, it may emit a sound signal.
