5.2.- Extended menus
By pressing the button for more than
three seconds, you can access the exten-
ded menus:
a.- LNB powering
The following extended menu is the LNB
powering mode and the selection of the 22
KHz tone. The are 5 possible options that
can be selected by pressing the
buttons. These select the powering voltage
of the LNB via the input signal of the modu-
le. The 22 KHz tone is also chosen in this
way:
LNB not powered. No tone
LNB powered at 13V. Tone activated
LNB powered at 13V. Tone de-activated
LNB powered at 17V. Tone activated
LNB powered at 17V.Tone de-activated
Note:
If you are using a Quatro type converter, it is
advisable to power it through each of the
possible outputs that will be used, and to
program and activate a 13V current and de-
activated tone in the corresponding modu-
les.
b.- Audio mode
The following menu that appears is the audio
mode. It lets you choose the operational
and
mode, either stereo or mono by means of the
and buttons.

c.- FM de-emphasis
The following menu that appears is the de-
emphasis selection menu. Using the
buttons, you can choose between 50µ,
75µ, J17, PANd (Wegener-Panda) or OFF.
d.- Demodulated bandwidth
The following menu lets you select the
audio subcarrier bandwidth. Using the
and buttons you can select the options
b130, b180, b200, b280, b380, b500, AUTO

that correspond to the bandwidths 130kHz,
180kHz, 200kHz, 280kHz, 380kHz 500kHz
and automatic selection, respectively .
e.- Video mode
The following menu to appear is the video
mode. This lets you choose the operation
mode, Normal or Inverted video by means of

f.- Audio level
The user can access the following menu by

level menu. It is possible to vary the para-
meter from -9 to +12dB. There is also a
MUTE option. Existing values: MUTE, AL-9,
AL8, ...AL00, AL01..., AL11, AL12.
