settings will be saved. Therefore, always switch off the device manually using
the switch at the side and never leave it unsupervised.
Remark 1
If you use the terrace heater for the first time or reuse it after a long period of
inactivity, it is advised to observe the terrace heater for 10–15 minutes to ensure
that it operates without any problems.
Remark 2
If you switch off the device using only the remote control or Bluetooth, the device
remains in the standby position. Therefore, always switch off the device using the
remote control/Bluetooth and the On/Off switch and remove the plug from the wall
socket!
Safety precautions
The Eurom Sunrise 2500 terrace heater is equipped with toppling protection, which
switches off the appliance if it falls over regardless of all the safety measures. In
such a case, remove the plug immediately from the socket and set the switch to
OFF.
Check the terrace heater carefully for any damage and in case of damage or
doubts, have the appliance repaired/checked by your supplier or a certified
electrician. If you observe any damage, do not continue to use the appliance!
If you do not observe any damage, you can carefully start the operation once more.
During the first 15 minutes thereafter, keep an eye carefully on the terrace heater
to check if it shows any malfunctions. If that occurs, switch it off immediately and
contact your supplier or electrician.
Cleaning and maintenance
Cleaning
Before you clean the terrace heater, always first remove the plug from the socket
and let the appliance cool down. You can clean the external side of the terrace
heater with a clean, soft, lint-free cloth or a soft brush. You can also use a moist
(not wet!) cloth with mild cleaning agent. Please note that the lamp must be
entirely dry before you switch it on again!
Do not use any aggressive cleaning agents, scouring pads or brushes and no
chemical cleaning agents; these can damage the material. Furthermore, never use
flammable cleaning agents such as paraffin or alcohol.
Never submerge the plug, electric cable or any other part of the appliance in water
or any other type of liquid. This can lead to an electric shock!
Maintenance
The Eurom Sunset 2000 terrace heater does not contain any parts that require
maintenance or need to be replaced/repaired by the user. Therefore, unauthorised
persons may not open appliance. Replacing the lamp must also be done by a
