6. WARNINGS
Important
To prevent damage to your scales, read and follow these
instructions:
•
In the event of a malfunction, please contact your
dealer or the manufacturer. Unauthorised modifica-
tions or repairs can damage the scales and will
cause the manufacturer warranty to become void.
•
Keep the scales dry. Liquids (e.g. water) can damage
the scales. Use a dry cloth, e.g. a towel, to wipe
the scales.
•
Do not use abrasive cleaning agents, which can
damage the surfaces.
•
Disconnect the power supply from the equipment
before installation, cleaning or maintenance. This is
to prevent possible injuries, and damage to the
equipment.
•
Do not expose the scales to direct sunlight. This
could cause colour changes.
•
If the scales are to be left unused for a long period,
take out the battery in order to prevent leaking.
•
Avoid stacking any materials on top of the scales
when they are not in operation.
•
Avoid overloading the scales as this could cause
damage.
•
Do not place the scales on tables that are unsuitable.
Table and floor must both be stable, and should
not vibrate. Do not position vibrating machines
near the scales.
•
Do not connect the scales to unstable power
sources.
•
Use only the original power adapter. Other
power adapters could cause damage to the scales.
