The separate rechargeable battery
connection makes sure that a 9 V
block battery will not be recharged by
mistake. The rechargeable battery is
recharged when the RF blink lamp is
connected to the mains power supply.
Prior to using the rechar-
geable battery for the
first time, it must be
recharged for 12 hours.
For rechargeable battery
operation, use and re-
charge only the special
rechargeable battery
A-2995-0.

using the 9 V block bat-
tery connection!
2. Setting the correct radio channel
A special digital transmission process
ensures that the radio signals are
picked up without errors. This pro-
cess also makes it possible to set 10
different radio channels. When sup-
plied from the factory, all RF blink
lamps are set to channel 0.

It is only necessary to set units to
other channels if you have several dif-
ferent users operating units in the
same building. Set the required chan-
nel by using a small screwdriver to
turn the channel selector switch,
which is located towards the top of
the battery compartment, to the requi-
red channel number.
All transmitters and receivers must be
set to the same channel.

Operation
1. Switching on the unit
Set the on/off switch to on. The RF
blink lamp is now ready to operate.
After the unit has been switched on,
each of the indicator lamps lights up
briefly in succession and the high-
power light-emitting diode blinks
several times. This forms part of a
self-test of the unit and lets you know
that it is functioning correctly.
