is necessary to correctly select all the technical
data relating to the system to be examined.
WARNING
The status of the communication with the vehicle
electronics is continuously shown by the special
graphic indication.
WARNING
If errors are stored in the vehicle electronics, the
special graphic indication will be active.
WARNING
If the self-diagnosis module does not switch on
after being connected to the diagnosis socket,
check the fuse.
WARNING
If the ESP indicator light remains switched
on after performing the zero-setting, use the
diagnosis to check the errors present.

In the report printed at the end of the wheel
alignment procedure (under the item Steering
Zero-Setting), the result of the zero-setting proce-
dure for the electronic steering is indicated. One
of the following messages will be given:
Steering angle zero-set
The zero-setting procedure for the electronic
steering was successful.
Steering angle not zero-set
The zero-setting procedure for the electronic
steering has not been completed.
Active errors on the control unit
- carry out diagnosis
It was not possible to carry out the zero-setting
procedure of the electronic steering owing to
active errors on the vehicle's control unit. It
is necessary to carry out a vehicle diagnosis
before proceeding with the zero-setting of the
electronic steering.

After correctly selecting a car, the following
message is displayed: "Warning, the password
used for the upgrade is incorrect".
The activation or upgrade operation was not
carried out, or was not successful, because the
password relating to another self-diagnosis
module was used.
Check the password.
Carry out the upgrade operation again.
After correctly selecting a car, the following
message is displayed: "Warning, the current
subscription does not activate the system".
The activation or upgrade operation was not
carried out, or was not successful, because a
password for a subscription not activated in the
current year is being used (e.g. system of 2007,
password activated in 2006).
Request the subscription for the current year.
Carry out the upgrade operation again.
There is no communication with the vehicle
electronics.
Check the vehicle and the electronics selected
in the software correspond to the system to be
examined. Check the panel is switched on.
After correctly selecting a car, the following mes-
sage is displayed: "Impossible to communicate
with the self-diagnosis module".
Check that the LED (1) of the self-diagnosis mod-
ule is flashing; if this is not the case, disconnect
the module from the EOBD socket of the car,
wait a few seconds then reconnect it. Try again
to use the software.
If the problem persists, check that the serial port
(COM) selected in the software is correct.
It is necessary for the cable or Bluetooth mod-
ule (if supplied) to always be connected to
the same USB gate of the PC used during the
installation.
If you use the Bluetooth modules (optional), it
is necessary to check the LED on the modules
is switched on.
