value
This screen displays the steering angle value
detected by the vehicle electronics. The value
is presented on a red background if it is out of
the admissible values, or green if it respects
these values. If the flashing "warning" symbol
appears, this means there are errors in the ve-
hicle electronics. If these errors are "active" (i.e.
the fault is still present), it may not be possible
to make the calibration and you must carry out
a specific zero-setting procedure of the vehicle
power units.
Continuing (right-hand arrow key), two possible
screens are displayed, depending on whether the
value is within or outside the envisaged limits.
• Value within the envisaged limits

if you press "Enter" (green tick), you will exit
the procedure without making the zero-setting
because the value is already correct. If you press
"ESC" (red abort), the zero-setting procedure is
carried out and, at the end, the steering angle
value screen will still be displayed.
• Value outside the envisaged limits

if you press "Enter", the zero-setting procedure
is carried out and, at the end, the steering angle
value screen will still be displayed. If you press
"ESC", you will exit the procedure without per-
forming the zero-setting.
In both cases, if the user chooses to carry out
the zero-setting, the software will guide him
in the steps to be followed (which may be dif-
ferent, depending on the type of vehicle). It is
therefore necessary to pay the greatest attention
to the messages displayed, and to carry out the
operations requested.
