Adjusting the software menus
The menu is operated using three buttons. Settings are adjusted using the software
menu. The operating structure is split into settings for the home menu and settings
for the configuration menu. For standard applications, adjusting the ejector's
settings in the home menu will suffice. An advanced configuration menu is available
for applications with special requirements.
When settings are changed, undefined states may occur in the system for
short periods of time (for around 50 ms) under certain circumstances.
Vacuum display
Outside of the menus, the ejector is in display mode and displays the current
vacuum.
If there is overpressure in the vacuum circuit, the display "-FF" appears. This
normally occurs in the "Blow off" operating state.
If the vacuum value is too high (outside of the measurement range), the display "FFF"
appears.
Individual functions
In display mode, a particular function is assigned to each button.
Supply voltage
O To display the supply voltage currently applied to the ejector in volts, press the
button
.

After 3 s, the display returns to the vacuum display.
The ejector is not a calibrated measurement device; however, the displayed
voltage can be used as a reference value and for comparative
measurements.
Operating mode display
O To display the current operating mode (SIO/Standard I/O mode or IO-Link mode),
press the button
.
3 sec.
After 3 s, the display returns to the vacuum display.

Status indicator
When an error occurs, it is displayed in the form of an error code ("E number") on the
display. The ejector's response to errors depends on the type of error.
A list of possible errors and the associated codes is provided under
Any operation taking place in the menu may be interrupted should an error occur.
Home menu
The home menu can be used to adjust and check all of the settings for the ejector's
standard applications.

Adjusting the zero point (calibration)
1. To adjust the zero point of the built-in sensors, briefly press the button

3. To confirm the value, press the button
then as soon as the display [YES] appears, press the button
The parameter flashes as confirmation.
The vacuum sensor is now calibrated.

Configuration menu

An advanced configuration menu is available for applications with special
requirements. The operating structure appears as follows:

[Loc] flashes in the display and the configuration menu disappears.

Running the "Reset to factory settings" function
1. To run the "Reset to factory settings" function, press the button
2. To select the menu item [rES], press the button
3. To confirm the selection of the menu item, press the button
then as soon as the display [YES] appears, press the button
The ejector has now been reset to the factory settings.
After confirmation, the display flashes for three seconds and then automatically
returns to display mode.
