6.10 Reproduction of JPEG files or
MP3 files
It is possible to reproduce pictures in JPEG format or
audio files in MP3 format from a USB storage me-
dium ( ☞ chapter 5 .3) . For reproduction, a special
OSD menu for USB connection is used . This menu
can only be operated via remote control .
1) Press the button "USB" to call up the menu .
After loading the data storage medium, the
menu page JPEG appears . The menu has three
pages:
page JPEG for reproduction of JPEG files
page MP3 for reproduction of MP3 files
page DRIVE, indicates that the data
storage medium has been identified
(EXIST is displayed)
If the data storage medium contains directories
(icon ), these directories will be shown on
both pages JPEG and MP3; however, on page
JPEG only JPEG files (icon
only MP3 files (icon
2) To go to another page, press the button "Menu /
OK": You will exit the current page and enter
the highest menu level (page selection bar) .
Use the button "Right" or "Left" to select the
desired page and press the button

Note: To quickly return to the highest level of the
directory structure on page JPEG at the end of the
slide show or the MP3 reproduction, use the button
"Catalog" . However, with some data storage media,
the USB connection may be disconnected when this
button is pressed .
5) To exit the menu and to return to the display
of a video source, use the button "PC / HD" or
"AV1/AV2" to select the desired source .

6.10.1 Slide show

Select a JPEG file and press the button "Right" to
start the slide show: All pictures or all pictures of
the directory will be continuously displayed one
after another . The dwell time of each picture is
10 seconds . To rotate a picture, press the button
"Left" or "Right" .
6.10.2 MP3 reproduction
Select an MP3 file and press the button "Right"
to start the reproduction . The control window for
the integrated MP3 player will appear and the title
will be replayed . The long bar graph indicates the
time already played of the title .
Press the button "Left" or "Right" to select the
desired control element of the player (green =
selected) and press the button "Source / " to
make the corresponding setting:
