Filtering the frying-oil/frying-fat
ATTENTION! Hot surfaces! Risk of burns. Wear protective gloves, safety clothing and safety goggles!
Filter the frying oil/frying grease daily. This will significantly increase the product life and the frying oil and
frying grease can be used longer.
Pump option: As the refilling process with a pump is much easier, it is recommended filtering the frying
oil/frying grease additionally during short frying breaks. See also chapter 62, page 9.3.1.

. To switch the appliance off - press the button
"On/Off"
D The indicator light in the button goes out.
D Three points will light up in the display.
D Wait at least two minutes after using the emptying

procedure to switch off. During this time, the fryer
heating element cools. This reduces the risk of
self-ignition of the frying oil/frying fat and the de
velopment of thick smoke during the emptying
procedure.
. Before filtering
− Insert fine filter,
− Insert coarse filter into fine filter,
− Insert fine filter with the coarse filter into the
container.
− Insert the container into the base.
Emptying the bowl and filtering
D For emptying and filtering, the frying-oil/frying-fat
must still be at least 60°C hot!
. Open the drain tap - lift the safety catch and turn
the lever as far as it goes.

D The frying oil/frying grease flows into the con
tainer and is filtered at the same time.
. During the draining process, check to make sure
the container does not overflow!
CAUTION! Risk of burns. Caution hot.
. Remove frying basket.
. Take out the insert sieve and remove any food
residue.
. Tilt the heater upward.
. Clean bowl.
and hold it for three seconds.
