Initial use

. Before using the appliance for the first time, clean with a cleaning product that dissolves grease.
. Dry the cleaned parts and surfaces with a soft cloth.

. Close drain tap - turn lever up and engage safety
catch.
Close
. Remove frying basket and insertable sieve from
the bowl.
Turning the heating element
For built-in deep fat fryers:
Bowl
. Hook handle onto the heating element and raise
the heating element.
For free standing deep fat fryers:
. Raise the heating element by turning the lever
anticlockwise.
. Insert the heating element support the right way
round - place higher support at the front.
. Swivel heating element in.
. Place insertable sieve on the heating element.
Automatic basket lift option:
. Slot the basket holder onto the basket lift.
. Hook frying basket in basket holder
