Operating Instructions Beropur pressurised cup gun
• max. spray pressure
• Average gun inlet pressure
3. Functional Description
The pressurised cup spray gun is suitable for the application of all kinds of cavity preservation materials by
means of wands and for the application of underbody protection materials on all kinds of vehicles.
4. Putting into Operation
Insert the 1 ltr. one way cans into the pressurized cup and screw it tight under the gun. Adjust air pressure
to 3 - 6 bar (43 psi - 87 psi) and connect air hose (electrical resistance < 10 million Ohm). Plug in required
wand and pull gun trigger. material refilling procedure: Cut air supply; unscrew cup, after usage safety valve
12 releases pressure.
The material flow can be adjusted by influencing the needle stroke with the help of the material flow control
screw, and fixed with counter nut 10.
5. Checking the Spray Fan
To ensure flawless preservation performance, check spray fan with all wands before work by spraying onto
paper, sheet metal or into a hollow body every three months. The spray pattern must show steady material
distribution. If this does not show even after thorough cleaning of gun and wands, return gun and wands
for in-factory check.
6. Changing the Self-adjusting Seals
Material Side: For replacement of the self-adjusting paint needle packing the paint needle and the cam
rod must be removed. Use hollow key Size 4 to unscrew the packing screw from the gun, together with
compression spring and packing. Insert compression screw, compression spring and new packing into
gun body, check material needle for damage and reassemble.
