Operating Instructions Beropur pressurised cup gun

7. Cleaning and Maintenance

Fill pressurised cup gun with suitable cleaning agent, shake well and clean-spray the unit through a coupled
wand. Clean gun from the outside by means of special cleaning agent and brush. Do not leave the gun
immersed in cleaning agent. If the gun is clogged, remove quick coupling and mixing cap ; then flush gun
thoroughly with cleaning agent. Always keep back check valve clean and ready for functioning. Missing or
faulty parts can lead to material bounce-back into the spray gun.
a)
Thoroughly flush pressurised cup gun with suitable cleaning agent.
b)
Clean mixing nozzle with brush. Do not immerse gun in thinner or cleaning agent.
c)
Slightly oil movable parts with SATA special grease.
Never use force. Using improper tools such as pipe wrench, gas torch, etc. will void any warranty. In many
cases proper repairs can only be carried out with the aid of special tools. In such cases, limit yourself to
establishing the cause of the problem and leave the repairs to the service department. We refuse to accept
liability for perfect functioning of the spray gun if it is disassembled by the customer.
Important Notice:
Gun may be cleaned with suitable cleaning agents manually.
The following actions damage the gun/system, may lead to the loss of the explosion-proofness
approval and entirely annull any warranty claims:
- Immersing the gun in solvent or cleaning agents, or for a period longer than required for the cleaning
process as such
- Cleaning the gun by means of ultrasound cleaning systems
