6. Safety Instructions

In case of damage caused by not complying with these safety instructions the guarantee will be
rendered void. We do not assume any liability for any damage arising as a consequence!
Nor do we assume liability for damage to property or personal injury caused by improper use or
the failure to observe the safety instructions! In such cases the guarantee will be rendered void.
Normal wear and tear during operation (e.g. worn-out gear wheels or servo transmission) are excluded
from the guarantee and warrantee, the same is the case for accidental damage (e.g. broken bearing
retainer or rotor blades).
Dear Customer, these safety instructions are not only for the protection of the product but also for your
own safety and that of other people. Therefore read this chapter very carefully before taking the product
into operation!
a) General
• The unauthorized conversion and/or modification of the product is prohibited for safety and approval reasons (CE).
• The product is not a toy and should be kept out of reach of children under 14 years of age.
• The product may not become damp or wet.
• If you do not have sufficient knowledge yet as how to deal with remote-controlled models, please seek the advice of
an experienced model sportsman or a model construction club.
Attention important notice!
it is possible that people may be injured or property damaged during operation of this model. Therefore
you should ensure that you are appropriately insured before you operate the model, i.e. take out liability
insurance. If you already have liability insurance, get some information as to whether the operation of a
model is covered by your insurance before you begin using the model.
Please note: In certain countries it is a legal requirement that you have insurance for all model aircraft!
• Do not leave packaging material unattended. It may become a dangerous toy for children.
• Should questions arise that are not answered with the help of this operating manual, contact us (contact information
see chapter 1) or another expert.
The operation and use of remote control model helicopters has to be learned! If you have never steered
such a model, start especially carefully and get used to the reactions of the model to the remote control
commands first. Do be patient!
