h) Checking the tail rotor control
Check the control of the tail rotor.
The basic setting is to be undertaken such that the control
lever (1) for the tail rotor is at a 90° angle to the tail rotor
(2).
The servo lever for the tail servo (3) must also be at a 90°
angle to the tail tube.
The fine adjustment can be made by turning the ball-head
fittings (4) on the linkage rods. The ball-head is taken off
the ball and after the head is turned it is replaced.
A helpful tool is a ball-head spanner, which is useful for
removing and replacing the ball-heads.
After completing the adjustments, don't forget to reconnect the engine to the speed control. Move the
gas / pitch lever to the "motor off" setting.
Now your model is ready for its first test flight.
Attention important!
Before starting to fly your model helicopter, you should read and take note of all the information in the
following pages.
i) Basic information relevant to the control of model helicopters
Before you fly your model, you should first familiarize yourself with the control possibilities open to you and thereby be

The transmitter shown here only serves as a representation of the steering/control options and may
look different on your helicopter.
