Troubleshooting

Error
2 to 3 filters are feed when
button is pressed or motion
detected.
The red LED in the START
button lights up.
The next filter is not
onveyed or only partially
when button is pressed or
motion detected.

14 Troubleshooting
Cause
The stop sensor in
the diverter roller (see
figure below) does not
identifythe rectangular
recess in the paper
carrier strip.
Transport
of the membrane
filter strip is impaired.
The stop sensor is located in the diverter roller which
also contains the feed roll.
Solution
1) Set power switch to "0"
Detach paper carrier

strip from feed roll
t
and spool
t
Clean the stop sensor
t
with a dry cloth
t
Rewind paper carrier
t
strip
t
Set power switch to
t
the desired position
t
2) Sensor test
Operate the filter dis-
penser without any
membrane filter strips by
pressing the START button.
Sensor OK: The feed
t
roll stops after half a
t
turn.
t
Sensor defective: The
t
feed roll does not stop
t
until after approx. 3 sec.
t
Remove feed impairment
t
