Fault
Plastic straps not sealed
properly, the seal is not OK. The
upper strap is not cut completely
or it is irregular.
During welding both straps are
cut.
Following the welding cycle the
tool cannot be detached from
the strap, lever 3 (97) must be
actuated with enormous force
being applied.

Cause
Welding time too short.
Gripper plate welding (8) and/or
welding plate (51) were polluted,
gearing is worn or defective.
Cutter (47) is worn or defective.
Welding motor (503) and/or
circuit board (19) defective or
loosen cable connections.
Li-Po storage battery defective
or insufficiently charged.
Use of inappropriate plastic
strap.
Welding time too long and/or
strap tension too strong.
Gripper plate welding (8) and/or
welding plate (51) were polluted,
gearing is worn or defective.
De-tension unit is not released /
de-blocked.
De-tension unit is blocked by
something or it is damaged.
Gear (77) is damaged.

Remedy
Check value set on the operator
panel and correct, if required.
Clean gripper plate welding (8)
and/or welding plate (51), check
gearing, replace when damage
becomes visible.
Check cutter (47) for damage and
replace it if required.
Visual check for loosen cable
connection, re-establish the cable
connection if required. Replace
parts when damage becomes visible
and/or contact TITAN-Service.
Check charge of Li-Po storage
battery and recharge or, if required,
replace it.
Use appropriate plastic strap, ask
your TITAN – Adviser for advice.
Check value set on the operator
panel and correct, if required.
Clean gripper plate welding (8)
and/or welding plate (51), check
gearing, replace when damage
becomes visible.
Slightly pull lever 3 (97) (do not pull
it completely) and check whether
the non-return unit is de-blocked.
Contact TITAN-Service.
Check if foreign objects are found in
the de-tension unit or if visible
damage can be detected. Contact
TITAN-Service.
Check if the gear (77) and the feed
wheel (85) can be turned easily and
evenly. Contact TITAN – Service.
