Fault
Strap tension isn't enough.
Plastic strap tears when being
tensioned.
Feed wheel slips trough.
Seizing signs on plastic strap.
The plastic strap tensioned is
bent on its side, it is not proper
within the strap guidance's; the
seal is not in the centre.
During the tensioning operation
the tool moves forward.
After the tensioning operation
the tool moves backward and
the plastic strap loosens.

Strap tension not set correctly.
Li-Po storage battery
insufficiently charged.
Tension motor (506), gear unit
(77) or circuit board (19)
defective or worn.
Strap tension setting too high.
Edges of packing item too
sharp.
Use of inappropriate plastic
strap.
Feed wheel (85) and/or gripper
plates (5 / 8) were polluted.
Gearing is worn or defective.
Strap tension setting too high.

Remedy
Check value set on the operator
panel and correct, if required.
Check charge of Li-Po storage
battery and recharge it.
Check tension motor (506), gear
unit (77) and circuit board (19) for
damage (visual inspection), if
existing contact TITAN service
dept.
Correct strap tension value set on
the operator panel downward.
If sharp packing item edges exist,
use an edge saver.
Use appropriate plastic strap, ask
your TITAN – Adviser for advice.
Clean feed wheel (85) and/or
gripper plates (5 / 8). Check
gearing, replace when damage
becomes visible.
Correct strap tension value set on
the operator panel if necessary.
Use appropriate plastic strap, ask
your TITAN – Adviser for advice.
Reduce the ambient temperature.
Increase the gap between feed
wheel (85) and gripper plate (5), ask
your TITAN – Adviser for advice.
Use appropriate plastic strap, ask
