11. Troubleshooting

Fault
The tool is blocking during the
operation, or the welding
process, due to this fact it isn't
possible to extract the tool from
the strap.
Li-Po storage battery plugged
into tool, but the tool doesn't
work.
Progressive abatement of Li-Po
storage battery duty cycles.
Charger does not start charging
and/or flashes red.
Work parameters like tensioning
force and welding time cannot
be entered and/or do not remain
saved.
Pressing the push-button 2
doesn't start the welding
operation.

Cause
The sealing mechanic is
blocking.
Li-Po storage battery defective
or insufficiently charged.
Contacts of Li-Po storage
battery or the tool polluted or
defective.
Loose cable connections.
Li-Po storage battery defective
or insufficiently charged.
Life of Li-Po storage battery
moves towards its end, internal
cells are defective or exhausted.
Contacts of Li-Po storage
battery or the tool polluted or
defective.
Netzstecker des Ladegerätes
nicht in der Steckdose, oder
Ladegerät defekt.
Li-Po storage battery is
defective.
Voltage of the Li-Po storage
battery is below 10 V.
Operator panel (104) or circuit
board control (102) is defective.
Push-button 2, welding motor
(503) and/or circuit board (19)
defective, or loose cable
connection.

Remedy
Remove and reinsert the the Li-Po
battery straight. The blockade
should be dissolved because the
control system moves the sealing
mechanism in basic position.
Should the fault not have been
remedied, contact TITAN service
dept.
Check charge of Li-Po storage
battery and recharge or, if required,
replace it.
Visual inspection of the contacts;
clean and straighten them, if
required.
Check the cable connections and fix
them if required.
Check charge of Li-Po storage
battery and recharge or, if required,
replace it. Then use the charged Li-
Po storage battery again and check
(count) if there is an improved cycle
time.
Use new Li-Po storage battery.
Visual inspection of the contacts;
clean and straighten them, if
required.
Prüfen ob Netzstecker in Steckdose
steckt, ggf. einstecken. Ladegerät
auf Funktion prüfen.
Do not use the Li-Po storage battery
any further and replace it with a new
Li-Po storage battery.
Test charger for proper function with
an instrument check, if voltage
below 10 V therefore charging is not
allowed. Replace Li-Po storage
battery.
Replace parts and/or contact TITAN
– Service.
Visual check for loosen cable
connection, re-establish the cable
connection if required. Replace
parts when damage becomes visible
and/or contact TITAN-Service.
