8.3. Seal quality

To make the best seal perform some test strapping operations and thus set the best
welding time and tensioning force.
The values to be set depend on strap dimensions and strap quality; they may vary. For the
reasons mentioned above TITAN cannot define generally applicable parameters.
Seal quality is very important; it can be subjected to a visual inspection.

8.4. Strap mismatch - correction

Due to the use of differently thick plastic strap a strap mismatch of upper and lower straps
may occur.
If the mismatch points out to the left (figure 8.4.1),
slightly turn the outer threaded pin to the left and
the inner to the right.
If the mismatch points out to the right, i.e. to the inner
side of the tool (figure 8.4.2), slightly turn the outer
threaded pin to the left and the inner to the right.
Repeat both operations until a uniform seal (figure
8.4.3) has been achieved.
