6.2.7. Web voltage

The parameters "Web voltage" and "Web voltage peak" (Figure 8) are values measured on the
Web. For measuring these values, a "Sensor IQ Easy" bar is required. To read out the "Sensor
IQ Easy" values on the IQ Com, the sensor must be paired to the IQ Com with the parameters
"Paired sensor" and "Enabled segments" (Figure 12).

6.2.8. Setpoint Warning/Alarm min./max. output current peak

With the parameters "Setp warning min outp cur pk", "Setp warning max outp cur pk", "Setp
alarm min outp cur pk" and "Setp alarm max outp cur pk" (Figure 9 & 12) warnings and alarms
can be set for the minimum and maximum peak output current. By default these parameters are
at 0.00 mA (= inactive).

6.2.9. Arcing

When arcing occurs between the high voltage output of the generator and earth, the generator
will turn off shortly (0.3 seconds) and a warning will be displayed on the screen of the Manager
IQ Easy. The number of arcings per minute is shown with the parameter "Arcs per minute"
(Figure 13). With the parameter "Max arcs per minute", the maximum number of arcing per
minute can be set (default = 10). When this maximum number of arcing is exceeded, the high
voltage is turned off and an alarm will be displayed on the screen of the Manager IQ Easy. The
high voltage output can be reactivated by setting the IQ Com to Standby and then again to Run.
When the parameter "Arcs per minute" is set to 0, the maximum number of arcs is unlimited.

7. Operation checks

7.1. Functional check via the LED's

The system is functioning properly when the LED on the IQ Com flash green (standby) or light
up orange (high voltage active). Any other LED indication signifies a process error or fault.
During normal operation, the "HV OK"-output will become active after the LED have turned
orange. See chapter 9 (Faults) to resolve problems.

7.2. Functional check via the Manager IQ Easy

The display of the Manager IQ Easy displays information on the status of the IQ Com / CM5. On
the main screen as well as on the device screens, the status of the IQ Com can be viewed by
means of the background colour. For more information on colours and icons, see chapter 6.2.
Detailed information is provided on the Information/Settings, Graphics, ActionLog and DataLog
tab.
