Preface

This manual is meant for the installation and use of the IQ Com Generator Converter
communication adapter. If there is mention of a communication adapter or IQ Com anywhere in
this manual, it refers to the IQ Com Generator Converter communication adapter.
The IQ Com is meant to be used with a Manager IQ Easy and a Chargemaster CM5. If there is
mention of a Chargemaster or CM5 anywhere in this manual, it refers to a Chargemaster CM5.
If there is mention of a Manager anywhere in this manual, it refers to a Manager IQ Easy.
This manual must be available at all times to staff operating the equipment.
Read through the entire manual before installing and commissioning the product.
Follow the instructions set out in this manual to ensure proper operation of the product and to
retain your entitlement under the guarantee.
