Maintenance
and cleaning
• Never clean the appliance when it is
turned on or is still hot. Turn off the
appliance by unplugging it and wait
until it has cooled down before
cleaning it.
• Make sure no water gets into the
housing.
• Do not immerse the appliance in water
or other liquids. If this does happen,
do not use the appliance again. For
safety reasons, dispose of the
appliance.
• Never use aggressive or abrasive
cleaning products.
1 Remove the plug from the plug socket
and allow the appliance to cool down.
2 Clean the hotplate and the appliance's
housing with a damp soft cloth. Use
warm water and some washing-up
liquid to dampen the cloth.
3 Make sure the appliance is thoroughly
dry before storing it.

Heat and electricity
