5.4.2 Connect the anti-static bar to the Desktop power supply

- Connect the external yellow / green wire to earth.
- Connect the M12 connector of the desktop power supply to the M12 connector of the adapter
cable M12 - M8, and connect the M8 connector of this cable to the connector on
the anti-static bar. The Remote on/off connection provided by SIMCO (Nederland) B.V. is
already connected in the desktop power supply, making the anti-static bar active by default
when it is connected.
- Connect the power cable.

5.4.3 Connect the anti-static bar to an external LPS certified power supply

- Connect the wiring according to Figure 6.

For personal safety and to ensure the correct operation, the grey and blue wires
must both be connected to earth.
These connections have already been made in the Simco-Ion desktop power supply.
Connect the external earth wire of the Simco-Ion desktop power supply to a guaranteed
earth point on the machine.
