c) Installation and mounting
• Use the holder provided to secure the device to a flat surface,
e.g. a desk, shelf, wall or ceiling. Depending on the surface
material, check whether the screws provided are designed to
be used with or without dowels. If in doubt, consult a techni-
cian.
• You can also use the double-sided adhesive tape to secure
the device to a smooth, flat surface (e.g. desk, shelf or work-
top).
• Before mounting the camera, unplug the power adapter to
disconnect the USB power supply.
Ensure that no existing cables or pipes (including water
pipes) are damaged when drilling mounting holes or
securing screws. Before drilling, check for concealed
wires or pipes beneath the surface that could be dam-
aged or cause injuries.
• Always consider the pan and tilt angle when choosing the set-
up location. Conduct a test before drilling holes and mounting.
If you wish to screw the camera in place, follow the steps below:
• Place the mounting plate (1) in the desired mounting position.
• Mark the position of the screws through the holes in the
mounting plate (1) and drill the holes.
• Use the screw holes to secure the mounting plate (1) in place
at both ends.
• Attach and fix the camera to the mounting plate.
The third screw and dowel are spare parts.
