1 Übersicht der Bedienelemente und
Anschlüsse
1 Eingangsbuchsen (kombinierte XLR-/6,3-mm-
Klinkenbuchsen, sym.) der Mono-Kanäle 1 - 4 für
den Anschluss von Mikrofonen oder Mono-Ge-
räten mit Line-Ausgangspegel (z. B. Musikinstru-
mente);
der Anschluss jeder Signalquelle ist wahlweise
über XLR- oder 6,3-mm-Klinkenstecker möglich
Vorsicht!
Bei eingeschalteter Phantomspeisung [rote
Kontroll-LED „PHANTOM POWER +48 V" (25)
leuchtet] werden die XLR-Anschlüsse dieser
Buchsen mit 48-V-Phantomspeisung versorgt.
Es dürfen in diesem Fall keine asymmetrischen
Mikrofone mit diesen Anschlüssen verbunden
sein, da diese zerstört werden könnten.
2 Insert-Buchsen (6,3-mm-Klinke, asym.) zum Ein-
schleifen von Effektgeräten in die Mono-Kanäle
1 - 4 (siehe auch Kap. 5.2.1)
Steckeranschlüsse:
Spitze = Send (Ausgang)
Ring
= Return (Eingang)
Schaft = Masse
3 Eingangsbuchsen (6,3-mm-Klinke, sym.) der bei-
den Stereo-Kanäle 5/6 und 7/8 für den An-
schluss von Stereo-Geräten mit Line-Ausgangs-
pegel (z. B. Keyboard, Drumcomputer)
Hinweis: Bei Monogeräten nur die Buchse „L"
anschließen. Das Signal wird dann in-
tern auf den rechten und linken Kanal
geschaltet.
4 Umschalttasten für die Mono-Kanäle 1 - 4, um
den Regelbereich für die mit dem Gain-Regler
(5) einstellbare Vorverstärkung an die jeweils
angeschlossene Signalquelle anzupassen
Bei angeschlossenem Mikrofon die Taste ausras-
ten (Stellung „MIC"):
der Regelbereich beträgt +10 dB bis +60 dB

Caution!
With switched-on phantom power [red indicat-
ing LED "PHANTOM POWER +48 V" (25) lights
up], the XLR connections of these jacks are
supplied with 48 V phantom power. No unbal-
anced microphones must be connected to
these jacks as they might be destroyed.
2 Insert jacks (6.3 mm jack, unbal.) to insert effect
units into the mono channels 1 to 4 (also see
chapter 5.2.1)

3 Input jacks (6.3 mm jack, bal.) of the two stereo
channels 5/6 and 7/8 for the connection of ster-
eo units with line output level (e. g. keyboard,
drum computer)
Note: if mono units are used, only connect the
jack "L". Then the signal is switched inter-
nally to the right and left channels.
4 Selector buttons for the mono channels 1 to 4 to
match the control range for the preamplification,
which can be adjusted with the gain control (5),
to the signal source connected in each case
With connected microphone release the button
(position "MIC"):
the control range is +10 dB to +60 dB
Press the button with connected line signal
source (position "LINE"):
the control range is -10 dB to +40 dB
5 Gain controls for adjusting the preamplification
for the input channels 1 to 7/8

10 Regler „AUX" für die Kanäle 1 - 7/8 zum Mi-
schen des jeweiligen Kanalsignals auf den Aus-
spielweg „AUX SEND" [das Signal wird vor
(„pre") dem Kanal-Pegelregler (14) abgegriffen]*
11 Regler „FX" für die Kanäle 1 bis 7/8 zum
Mischen des jeweiligen Kanalsignals auf den
Ausspielweg „FX SEND" [das Signal wird nach
(„post") dem Kanal-Pegelregler (14) abgegriffen]
12 Panoramaregler „PAN" für die Mono-Kanäle 1 - 4
zum Platzieren des Mono-Kanalsignals in der
Stereo-Basis bzw. Balanceregler „BAL" für die
Stereo-Kanäle 5/6 und 7/8
13 Kontroll-LEDs; dienen entweder als Übersteue-
rungsanzeigen oder als PFL-Anzeigen für die
Kanäle 1 bis 7/8
LED leuchtet rot („PEAK"):
kurzes rotes Aufleuchten zeigt an, dass das
Kanalsignal seinen Maximalpegel erreicht hat,
bei dem es gerade noch nicht übersteuert
wird; leuchtet die LED permanent rot, ist der
Kanal übersteuert
LED leuchtet grün („PFL"):
wenn der jeweilige Kanal zur Anzeige seines
Pre-Fader-Pegels auf dem VU-Meter (30) mit
der Taste „PFL CH SELECT" (31) angewählt
wurde
14 Pegelregler für die Kanäle 1 bis 7/8 zum Mi-
schen des jeweiligen Kanalsignals auf den Mas-
terkanal „MAIN"
6 Equalizing controls for the high range: ±15 dB/

8 Buttons to switch on or off the 80 Hz filter (high

12 Panorama controls "PAN" for the mono channels
1 to 4 for placing the mono channel signal in the

13 Indicating LEDs; either serve as overload indica-
tions or as PFL indications for the channels 1 to
7/8
LED lights up red ("PEAK"):
short red lighting-up indicates that the channel
signal has reached its maximum level at which
it is just not yet overloaded; if the LED lights
up red permanently, the channel is overloaded
LED lights up green ("PFL"):
if the respective channel was selected with the
button "PFL CH SELECT" (31) to indicate its
pre-fader level by means of the VU meter (30)
14 Level controls for the channels 1 to 7/8 to add
the respective channel signal to the master
channel "MAIN"
15 Mono output (6.3 mm jack, unbal.) of the Aux
way "AUX SEND" (switched pre-fader*); it can be
used for connecting a monitoring system for the
PA stage applications
