8. Cleaning the filter

To clean the integrated coarse filter, remove the
JRGURED UP cartridge (see Section 3).
The inlet area of the JRGURED UP cartridge is
provided with a coarse filter (1,000 µm).
This coarse filter can be cleaned or replaced
(Art. No. 1385.320) if the JRGURED UP cartridge
is removed.
A damaged or deformed coarse filter
must not be installed again because
otherwise the function of the shut-off
unit might be impaired.

When installing the coarse filter, make sure
that it is fully inserted into the JRGURED UP
cartridge and lies flush against its entire
circumference.
Risk of injury from sharp-edged parts
of the filter.
Ô Wear protective gloves.
When dealing with the JRGURED UP
cartridge, utmost caution should be
applied with regard to sealing elements
and sealing surfaces. Damage done to
these components may lead to leaks
and malfunctions.
