4. Installing and removing the JRGURED UP
cartridge
Removing the JRGURED UP cartridge:
The JRGURED UP cartridge may be
installed or removed by qualified
personnel only. Please contact a local,
licensed plumber.
- Remove the locking sleeve (see Section 1).
- Apply the hexagon socket (SW 36) of the
installation tool (Art. No. 8140.000) to the
JRGURED UP cartridge and unscrew it by
turning it clockwise
.

When unscrewing the JRGURED UP
cartridge, the integrated shut-off unit
closes the inlet. However, residual
water may still seep out of the
protective tube.
When dealing with the
JRGURED UP cartridge,
utmost caution should
be applied with regard
to sealing elements and
sealing surfaces.
Damage done to these
components may lead to
leaks and malfunctions.
You must not try to repair the
JRGURED UP cartridge.
