High performance in turbulent air
The high aspect ratio, carefully calculated profi le and competition
lines make the OMEGA 7 a high-performance glider, even in turbulent
air. The performance is clearly expressed with a glide ratio of 10:1
and an exceptional glide angle in the upper speed range. The Speed
Performance Indicator (SPI) also helps experienced pilots to choo-
se the optimum speed and enables them to greatly improve average
speed on cross-country fl ights.

Despite the wide wingspan, the OMEGA 7 exhibits predictable and
extremely direct handling which facilitates precise turn initiation and
infi nitely variable re-centering at all angles of bank. In addition, the
balance between the profi le and air foil twist ensures the requisite
thermal bite and exceptional canopy feedback.
