Building in dimensions
Saw the opening in the worktop. This should
be done very accurately (see table). Also saw
out any partitions that may be present.

Possibilities for building in
Above a 60 cm cupboard or oven
Make an opening in the side wall of the
kitchen cupboard for leading the connection
cable through (for building-in in combination
with an oven).
When an oven is installed: Cut-out
dimensions: 640 mm minus worktop thickness.

Fit a wooden board to protect the hob.
Building in
Fitting the connection cable
Open the cover of the junction box with a
screwdriver.
Fit the connection cable and make the correct
connections using the bridges supplied (see
page 30: diagram of connector block). In the
lid of the connector block, there is an
illustration of how you should make the
connection with the bridges.
Fasten the cable with the strain relief and
close the cover.
Fitting the hob
Stick the sealing strip to the underside of the
glass top.
Turn the hob over and allow the appliance to
sink into the opening. If necessary, pass the
connection cable through the opening in the
side of the kitchen cupboard (for building-in in
combination with an oven).
