PROGRAMMING PROCEDURE (Setting the programmer and the current sensor)
• The installation of both anti-derailment buffers is absolutely obligatory.
• Make sure that the safety devices are at rest otherwise you will not be able to enter programming.
Dip-switch settings D1
CAUTION:
If you change the dip settings you must memorise them; press
the "PROG" button, "dIP" will appear on the display indicating that the
settings have been memorised.
Sequential command TD/CH1
Dip 1 "ON"
= Sequential command "open-close"
Travel direction inversion only during closing.
Dip 1 "OFF"
= Sequential command
"open-block-close-block"
Automatic reclosing (DIP 2)
Dip 2 "ON"
= Automatic reclosing enabled
Dip 2 "OFF"
= Automatic reclosing disabled
Operation with one or two motors (DIP 3)
Dip 3 "ON"
= Single motor operation
Dip 3 "OFF"
= Double motor operation
Warning light output (DIP 4)
Dip 4 "ON"
= Warning light output intermittent
Dip 4 "OFF"
= Warning light output fixed
FTCI test (DIP 5)
Dip 5 "ON" = FTCI test enabled
Dip 5 "OFF"
=
FTCI test disabled
Electric lock (DIP 6)
Dip 6 "ON" = Electric lock enabled
Dip 6 "OFF"
=
Electric lock disabled
When the electric lock is activated the output LC24 (posts 17-18) will no
longer be used to drive the 24 Vdc courtesy light. It will drive a 12 Vdc
electric lock as follows: before the door starts opening the contact activates
and remains active until the door has closed for a few centimetres.
If you enable the security test you will have to connect both the transmitter
and the receiver to the controlled load output (CTRL 30 Vdc).
When the test is enable one second will pass between receiving a com-
mand and carrying it out.
CURRENT SENSOR
The programmer checks the electrical input to the motor, detecting any
eventual increase in effort above the normal operating limits and intervenes
as an additional safety device.
When the sensor intervenes the door automatically inverts the travel
direction.
AUTOMATIC REPOSITIONING
If the programmer blocks due to an encoder count error
programmer reset
, when the motor has been released
a problem with the motor
when a command has been received (after
pre-flashing for 10 seconds) the door automatically moves, slowly, to the
completely closed position (2 times as in the programming procedure) in
order to recover the correct position
At this point the programmer will function normally.
No commands will be accepted during repositioning but the security devices
will cut in and block all movement if they go into alarm.
• To interrupt the repositioning manoeuvre, press the "PROG", "TB" or
"TD" button.
When you activate the manual release mechanism, move the door manually,
and then relock the door in a position different from the starting position
the programmer will lose control over the position of the door.
The next time it receives a movement command the programmer will carry
out automatic repositioning to find the travel limit.

WHEN THE DOOR REACHES THE COMPLETELY OPEN POSITION IT
ON
INVERTS THE TRAVEL DIRECTION AND AFTER MOVING FOR A FEW
CENTIMETRES IT WILL OPEN AGAIN TO CONFIRM THE COMPLETELY

OPEN POSITION. AT THIS POINT THE DOOR MOVES IN THE CLOSING DIRECTION. WHEN IT IS
COMPLETELY CLOSED IT INVERTS ITS TRAVEL DIRECTION FOR A FEW
CENTIMETRES AND THEN STARTS CLOSING AGAIN SO AS TO ESTABLISH THE
COMPLETELY CLOSED POSITION.

AFTER HAVING CARRIED OUT THIS MANOEUVRE THE LOGIC CONTROL WILL OPEN THEN
CLOSE THE DOOR COMPLETELY IN ORDER TO CALIBRATE THE CURRENT SENSOR.
THE OPERATION HAS NOT
SUCCEEDED. YOU WILL HAVE
TO REPEAT THE
PROGRAMMING PROCEDURE.
Attention: If an obstacle is detected during the closing
, after a
manoeuvre the programmer will carry out one of the fol-
or there is
lowing work cycles:
1) with automatic reclosing enabled
-
travel direction inverts until the completely open position is
reached
-
after the pause time has elapsed the closing cycle will start.
2) with automatic reclosing disabled
-
travel direction inverts until the completely open position is
reached
-
a pause time of 20 seconds is carried out
-
after the pre-flashing for 10 seconds the closing cycle will
start.
With or without automatic reclosing selected the cycle will be
carried out 3 times consecutively (if parameter drA=1, see page
24) or only once (if parameter drA=0) after which the garage door
will remain completely open until it receives another command.
During the repositioning manoeuvre the current sensor
value "SnS" (see page 25) could be different leading to a
momentary increase in the door impact force. At the end
of the manoeuvre, however, it will reset automatically to
the chosen value.
