This chapter describes how to unpack the dehumidifier, make it ready for use and
transport it.
These illustrations show the dehumidifiers, while they are still packed:

CDT 22
Always transport the CDT 22 in vertical position.
If the unit is laid down during transport, the compressor may be damaged and oil from
the compressor may get into the cooling circuit.
This does not apply to CDT 35/35S/50/85, as these units are fitted with rotary
compressors.
If the units CDT 35, 35S, 50 or 85 have been laid down during transport, they must
stand in vertical position for at least 1 hour, before they are put in service.
Follow this procedure to unpack the dehumidifier and to make it ready for use:
Step
1 Lift out the CDT 22 vertically to avoid
damage to the packaging
2 Mount the handle, and the
dehumidifier is ready for use
