1 Important Information
The security features of the emergency exit / panic locking systems
panicLock AP4 179 / 1125 are of importance for the conformity with EN 179:2008
and EN 1125:2008.
Any type of modification is not permitted except for the ones described in these
instructions.

1.1 Scope of application

Valid for emergency exit locks / panic door locks of the series panicLock AP4, for
single and double sash doors in functions E, B and D such as panicLock AV3 OR
and panicLock blueMotion.

Emergency exit locking systems according to
EN 179:2008
Emergency exit locks in accordance with EN
179:2008 are prescribed for buildings where
there is no public access and where visitors are
familiar with the functions of the escape doors.
