H. Place each cartridge back into skimmer well, then rotated
each cartridge handle clockwise to thread back into wall fitting.
DO NOT OVERTIGHTEN!
I. Install the net and the cap in the cover catches as shown (the cap
can be turned around and the back part used to prolong use).
J. Tilt filter cover back against the spa shell.Turn power to spa
back on.
The filter cartridge needs to be cleaned thoroughly on a regular
basis, to remove more stubborn deposits.
For this, we suggest cleaning as illustrated in step "F", followed by
soaking the filter overnight in a plastic container filled with a solu-
tion of water and specially formulated filter cleanser available from
your authorized Jacuzzi dealer. The average life expectancy of each
filter is approximately two years with proper care and water quali-
ty maintenance. Replacement cartridges may be purchased from
your authorized Jacuzzi dealer.
Draining and refilling
About every 3 to 6 months, you will want to replace the water in
the spa. Frequency of water replacement depends on frequency
of use, care taken in maintaining water quality, etc.
You will know it is time for a change when you cannot control
suds and/or you can no longer see the normal sparkle to the wa-
ter, even though the key water balance measurements are all
within the proper parameters.
WARNING! Turn off power to spa before draining it. Do not
turn the power back on until your spa has been refilled.
If it is extremely cold, and the spa is outdoors, freezing could occur
in the pipes of the hydraulic system (see the section on "Winterizing").
To drain your spa, perform the following steps:
1. Turn off power to spa.
2.
2.
3.
3.
4.
4.
5.
5.
2. Identify the drain valve on the base, at the bottom. Holding the
rear ring nut still, unscrew and remove the cap.
3. Connect a garden hose.
4. Rotate the rear valve body 1/3 turn counter clockwise to un-
lock the drain valve.
5. Pull the larger (rear) body outward to open drain.
6. After the spa drains, perform steps 2-5 in reverse order to close
the drain prior to refilling the spa.
7. After refilling, turn on power to the spa and follow the steps
listed under "Start-up instructions"
N.B.: Always fill your spa through both filter fittings.
Keep your spa clean
To preserve the sheen of your spa's surface, it is crucial that you
avoid using abrasive cleaners or cleaners which have adverse ef-
fects on the surface.
Regardless of the cleanser used, use extreme care to assure that no
soap residue is left on the surface. This could cause suds when the
spa is refilled.
Headrest Care

1. Place both hands on pillow with thumbs as shown.
2. Press inwards with your thumbs to fold the edge of the headre-
st, so you can grip it from the back with your fingertips.
3. Flex pillow lip inward 2-3" to get a good grip on the ends.
4. Gently pull outward on pillow to release mounting stud from
receptacle on spa shell.
5. Wash pillow(s) in a mild detergent soap and warm water so-
lution. Never machine wash your pillows or attempt to clean
them with a non-approved vinyl cleaning agent!
6. To reinstall pillows: simply align pillow over mounting stud re-
ceptacle, then gently push inward to snap in place.
Remove and clean the headrest pillows as needed with soapy
water using a cloth or soft-bristle brush. Always remove the
pillows when adding chemical shock treatment to the spa
water. The pillows can be returned to the spa when the san-
itizer reading is stable as recommended on the inside cover
of the manual.
