Mechanical structure
The control box is a system to check the burners, based on a mi-
croprocessor and equipped with components to adjust and su-
pervise medium and large capacity forced draught burners.
 Possibility of fixing with screws on both sides.
 Removable cover for wiring, fixed with a screw.
 Potentiometer for adjusting the number of revs of the blower
accessible from the outside.
 Connections: Rast5 connector, Wieland plug, Kromschröder
optical adaptor.
 Piping for cables in two directions with cable reliefs.
 Earthed neutral connector with safety conductor.
 Interchangeable appliance safety device, alternative safety
device in the appliance.
 The parameters can easily adapt to the CM-Lab software.
The multiple functions provide a clear diagnosis. The con-
nection for the PC is carried out using an adapter cable with
an optical interface.
Operation
The potentiometers enable the speed value to be adjusted within
a range set within the internal parameters of the CM222 control
box.
Specifically (Fig. 6):
– The MAXIMUM POTENTIOMETER allows the maximum
speed to be adjusted and therefore the maximum burnt out-
put.
This parameter also regulates the fan speed in the pre-purg-
ing phase.
– The START POTENTIOMETER allows the reference value
for the burner output during the ignition and flame stabilisa-
tion program.
– The DISPLAY AND RESET BUTTON has various functions,
including: allows the state in which the fan is operational and
the type of error that occurred to be checked, and it also func-
tions as a reset button to reset the burner.
– The MINIMUM POTENTIOMETER allows the minimum
speed to be adjusted.
