About this operating instructions
Before using the CasaFan light kit for ceiling fan, read the operating instructions
carefully. Keep the operating instructions within reach. Never pass the light kit
onto another person without the operating instructions.
Explanation of symbols:

Warns you of immediate danger to life.
SAFETY ADVICES
- Installation work and work on the electrical connection may only be carried out
by an approved electrician. The applicable installation regulations must be ob-
served.
- Switch off the mains or respectively the connection lead before doing any works!
Otherwise there is danger to life!
- Parts of the light kit become warm during use. Keep a safe distance from flam-
mable materials. Under no circumstances should the luminaire be covered.
- The light kit may not be modified or converted.
- Never look directly into the light of the luminaire.
- This luminaire can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and per-
sons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience
and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning
use of the appliance in a safe way and understands the hazards involved.
- Children shall not play with the luminaire. Children shall not clean the luminaire
without supervision.
- Only clean the luminaire with a dry, soft cloth when it is switched off from the
power supply. Do not use water or cleaning agents!
- In case of a malfunction you may not operate the luminaire further. A malfunc-
tion exists when visible damages appear (e.g. flickering light, escaping smoke or
burning smell).
- Contact the manufacturer or an authorized dealer in case of damage. Repairs
may only be carried out by qualified electricians.
- Dispose of packaging material and foils in an environmentally friendly manner
and inaccessible to children. Children can get caught in it while playing and
suffocate.
