IGNITION AND STOKING
Clean all enamelled surfaces of the stove with a dry cloth before the first firing to avoid burning
dirt on the stove and creating unpleasant odours.
Light the fire in the firebox in the following order:
• open the stove firebox door and ashtray,
• insert fuel into the firebox (kindling on non-greased crumpled paper),
• ignite the fire,
• leave the ashtray door open until the flame is stable, then close them and regulate the burning
strength with the draft regulator (Figure 1, position 3),
• after the first embers appear, insert larger pieces of wood or coal into the firebox. If you are using
briquettes as fuel, wait for the entire amount of fuel to be heated and only then reduce the draft
by half.
• when adding fuel, open the firebox door (Figure 1, position 1) only a few degrees, wait 4-5
seconds, then slowly open. Do not open the door abruptly, because when there is a strong flame
in the firebox, it can spill towards the room.
By regulating the draft in the stove, you regulate the temperature, power and speed of fuel
combustion, and this is done by turning the primary air regulator on the ashtray door (Figure 1,
position 1).
The stove has auxiliary accessories that serve to facilitate stove maintenance.
Wood and briquettes are recommended for stoking.
Do not use fuel oil, gasoline, etc. as fuel, since the use of liquid fuels can damage the stove
damage and cause explosion.
Caution!
• Do not use waste of organic origin, food remains, plastic objects, flammable and explosive
materials as fuel, their combustion disrupts the proper operation of the stove and can cause
damage and environmental pollution.
• Higher outside temperatures can cause low air flow (draft) in the flue, so it is recommended
regular stoking in smaller quantities.
• Avoid using the stove when the weather conditions are bad and in case of strong wind, because
that affects the required vacuum in the flue. In these cases, fumes may return to the room where
the stove is located. This makes stoking difficult.
We recommend stoking for 1 hour with fuel height in the firebox up to 15 cm with cross-
arrangement of wood due to the larger draft.
After each filling, the stove should burn for at least 30 minutes with maximum power, so that all
the volatile ingredients that cause condensation in the stove in that combustion phase may burn.
In order for the stove to operate properly, it is necessary to:
• clean the stove and flue regularly
• ventilate the room regularly in order to have good combustion,
