Fitting the electric components
Please note
Masses which suddenly slide down may
cause injury to people in the vicinity of a
vertically mounted DGEA-... .
When fitting in a vertical position:
S make sure that the DGEA-... is only
driven by a motor with an integrated
spring-loaded holding brake.
You can then avoid the working mass
sliding down if there is a sudden power
failure.
These are not suitable for braking mas-
ses in movement. They hold masses sa-
fely in position at a stand.
Connect the electric control elements in
S
accordance with the operating instructions.
– Motor
– Reference point switch
– Stroke limit switch
– Safety limit switch
in each case with the appropriate interface of the controller or the emergency
stop circuit.
