Fastening the scanning elements:
16. Use a sensor kit in accordance with the chapter "Accessories".
17. Note that a stroke reserve is integrated in the cantilever arm length.
If used correctly, the stroke reserve ensures that emergency braking can still
be carried out between the programmed and the mechanical end positions.
Complete the fitting of the sensor kit in accordance with these operating in-
structions.
In order to increase safety against damage:
18. use shock absorbers especially in vertical mode operation (see chapter
"Accessories").
If fitted correctly, the shock absorbers will brake the mass without striking
through and without striking the stop on the shock absorber support (see also
operating instructions for the shock absorber).
The shock absorber supports are not intended as a fixed stop, which may be
approached during normal operation. It serves only as a protective measure
for commissioning faults.
19. Complete the fitting of the shock absorber support in accordance with these
operating instructions.

20. Use cover rails in all unused grooves
in accordance with the chapter
"Accessories".
