Care and maintenance

In the case of excessive dirt:
If the DGEA-... is dirty, clean the exterior with a soft cloth.

Non-abrasive cleaning agents are recommended e.g. soap suds or water
(max. 60 °C).
Lubricate the DGEA-... after every
S
5000 km run with roller bearing grease
KP2K as per DIN 51852 on all lubricating
nipples 1 ... 4 (with DGEA-18 on two
lubricating nipples). 1 and 2 or 3 and
4 ).
The lubricating nipples on the drive head
should be used for this purpose.
The grease cavities will only be filled
equally if the cantilever arm is moved
backwards and forwards at the same time.
A grease gun with a pin-head nozzle (A) as per DIN 1283 is required for this
purpose.
Alternatively, Festo offers a service inspection which includes lubrication.
Otherwise the DGEA-... does not require any maintenance.

Do not modify the toothed belt clamping device.

Subsequent tightening of the toothed belt is not necessary.
If it is necessary to replace the toothed belt:
