2. Description
2.1 Setup and functioning
Drinking bowl for animals, with integrated heating cable to keep the bowl and valve frost-free. With types 222050 and
222055, one of the two heating cable ends can be heated, and is intended for heating the water inlet.
The heating cable consists of a resistance heating element, a temperature switch and a cold cable end.
With types 222040 and 222045, neither of the heating cable ends is heated. A temperature switch built-in for tempera-
ture control is installed on the underside of the drinking bowl (black spot). Within the specified temperature range, the
heating cable keeps the bowl frost-free. The temperature switch integrated into the heating cable switches the heating of
the bowl on at around +5°C and off again at around +13°C. The cover on the underside of the bowl and the closed
construction in the area of the valve inlet have an insulating effect and prevent heat emitted by the heating cable from
escaping.
The 222050 and 222055 models are equipped with heating cables with an extended heating range beyond the bowl
(auxiliary pipe heating), which also keeps the water inlet frost-free for up to 2 metres.
