Wear sturdy shoes.
Wear goggles and ear defenders
when using the device!
Wear a dust mask.
Wear tightly fitting clothing.
Do not wear protective gloves.
Wear gloves when touching the saw
blades and rough materials. We rec-
ommend that you keep saw blades
in a protective bag whenever possi-
ble.
Remaining risks
Even with proper use of the device and when
heeding all safety instructions in these oper-
ating instructions, the following residual risks
can arise:
• Touching the saw blade in the area which
is not covered.
• Reaching into the running saw blade.
• Rebound of workpieces and parts of work-
pieces.
• Saw blade breaks.
• Slinging out of flawed hard metal parts of
the saw blade.
• Hearing damage with failure to wear the
necessary ear protection.
• Health-damaging emissions of wood dust
with use in closed rooms.

The splitting wedge (10) prevents a work-
piece being caught by the rising teeth and
being thrown against the operator.
The splitting wedge (10) must always remain
mounted during operation.
Upper saw blade protector
The upper saw blade protector (2) protects
the user from accidentally touching the saw
blade (13) and from flying splinters.
During operation, the upper saw blade (2)
protector must always be mounted and it
must be possible to lower it onto the work-
piece.

The lower saw blade cover (12) protects the
user from accidentally touching the saw blade
and from flying splinters.
The lower saw blade cover (12) must always
remain mounted during operation.
Push stick

The push stick (8) serves as an extension of
the hand and protects the user from acciden-
tally touching the saw blade.
The push stick (8) must always be used when
the gap between the stopper and the saw
blade is less than 120 mm.
