7.3 Connecting the machine torch
NOTICE
• Observe and check the safety shut-off mechanism depending on the machine
configuration.
• Warning! Always connect the system externally.
7.4 Plasma cutting torch with central connector
NOTICE
• The plasma cutting torches with central connector must only be connected to power
sources with central sockets which comply with the safety requirements according to
EN 60974-1 and EN 60974-7.
• The assignment of the cutting torch and cutting power source is clearly defined by the
codes on the plug and the socket and must be observed under all circumstances.

7.5 Before switching on

• Ensure that all threaded fittings are tight.
• Replace defective, deformed or worn parts.
• Ensure that equipment parts are correctly positioned and tightened properly.
NOTICE
• Small amounts of condensation can form in the feed hoses after long periods of non-use
or following major temperature fluctuations. To remove this condensation from within the
cable assembly, repeatedly actuate the gas pre-flow trigger until the cable assembly is
dry. The wear parts need to be disassembled to do this.
• We recommend carrying out this procedure before the start of daily work.
