increased vibration or excessive noise, turn the grinder off immediately releasing the pressure on the switch, unplug the power
cord from the socket, and search for the cause of the malfunction. It is forbidden to resume operation without rectifying the fault.
9. The grinder switch is equipped with a lock which allows it to remain in the "on" on position without the need for continuous
pressing. This will make it possible to work with a stand. The switch can only be locked when the switch is pressed. Slide the lock
button (IX) and release the pressure on the switch. The switch will remain pressed.
Unlocking the switch is done by pressing the switch (IX), the lock button will automatically return to the initial position, and after
releasing the pressure the switch will automatically change the position to "off ".
10. Adjust the rotation, then grasp both stand handles with a fi rm and secure grip and proceed.
11. To switch off the grinder, turn the power switch located on the power panel to the off - O position. After the tool has been
switched off , the grinding disc may still rotate for some time. Wait until the disc rotation has come to a complete stop. It is forbidden
to stop the disc by applying it to the workpiece surface, or to slow it down in any other way than by allowing it come to a standstill
on its own.
12. Once the rotation has stopped, release the lock on the grinder switch so that it returns to the off position.
13. If the grinder is switched off using the switch on the power panel or if the power supply is lost, the tool with the switch
pressed in and locked with the locking mechanism will not restart automatically when power is recovered. In this case,
in order to restart the grinder, the grinder switch must be pressed, the lock button will automatically return to its initial
position, the switch will automatically change to the "off " position when the pressure is released. Run the tool according
to the procedure described above.
Grinder operation
Where required, the processed material must be secured, e.g. with vices or clamps, in such a manner that it cannot move during
work. The grinder disc rotates at a high speed and, if not properly secured, the material may move uncontrollably during work,
which would increase the risk of serious injury.
Wear personal protective equipment, such as eye and hearing protection, a dust mask, safety gloves and appropriate work
clothing.
Make sure to carry out all assembly and adjustment steps.
Make sure that the switch is in the "off " position, then plug the power cord into the socket.
Always hold the grinder with both hands gripping its main and additional handle.
Allow the grinder to reach full speed and only then start working the material.
After work, use the power switch to turn the grinder off , unplug it from the mains by pulling the power cord out of the socket, and
start maintenance works.
Grinder operation tips
It is forbidden to hold the grinder other than by its handles, in particular it is forbidden to hold the grinder by the top of the housing.
Such a grip does not ensure safe operation and the ventilation openings at the top of the enclosure are obscured. This can lead
to overheating of the tool.
Do not press the grinder against the processed surface too hard. Excessive pressure can cause the grinder to overheat and
damage the processed surface.
Position the grinder so that the entire surface of the grinding disc is used. This will ensure uniform wear of the disc.
Use the diamond blade only for grinding concrete or cement screed. Do not use a diamond blade for grinding wooden surfaces
and soft ceramic surfaces, e.g. gypsum plaster or brick. Such use will lead to surface damage and may also cause injuries.
Move the grinder towards and away from you, and gradually to a side. Do not move the grinder in circles.
The grinder should always be used with an external dust extraction system. The grinder cannot be used for wet work, so external
dust extraction is the only option to reduce dust in the workplace. An industrial vacuum cleaner can be used as a dust extraction
system. Household vacuum cleaners should not be used for this purpose, as they are not designed to handle the dust generated
during concrete grinding.
The speed of the tool should be selected according to the surface to be worked on. It is advisable to carry out the test on a less
visible piece of substrate or on waste material. Higher speeds provide a smoother surface fi nish, but also increase the risk of
damage to the workpiece by prolonged contact with the disc.
The disc should be guided in a smooth, steady motion over the surface to be ground. This is the only way to ensure even working
results.
Take regular breaks during operation to check the condition of the disc. If the disc has been damaged, it should be replaced with
a new one that is free of defects.
PRODUCT MAINTENANCE
ATTENTION! Before carrying out any adjustment, servicing or maintenance work, unplug the tool from the mains socket.
In order to thoroughly clean the space between the disc and guard, the disc must be removed. Clean the space between the disc
and the guard, the disc itself and the guard of dust and other contaminants with a soft dry cloth, a jet of compressed air at a max.
pressure of 0.3 MPa, or a soft brush. Do not use sharp objects for cleaning.
